JK Intercultural is a training and consulting firm dedicated to improving the abilities of organizations, leaders and personnel to work with people from other cultures through training, coaching and speaking. CROSS CULTURAL TRAINING

Working in a new country can severely challenge even the most effective leaders as they find the management skills, styles, and techniques that drove their success back home, don’t work with their new teams. The solution is a customized intervention that brings into focus the cultural roots of their struggles, explores avenues of overcoming these obstacles and provides opportunities to practice them. Upon completion of the Cross-cultural Training Program participants will:

• Recognize how culture influences behavior of peers and direct reports.

• Understand their own personal cultural preferences and how it affects their behavior.

• Be able to compare their preferences with those of various nations along 5-7 cultural dimensions.

• Understand how host country culture affects the behaviors of their local peers, direct reports, customers and suppliers.

• Develop strategies for adapting their behaviors for effective interactions.

• Develop strategies for helping their direct reports adapting their behaviors to succeed within the corporate culture.

• Create an action plan for continued learning and progress.

INTERCULTURAL TRAINING

Working internationally is a career path that, in addition to providing growth and opening opportunities, also seeds uncertainty awkwardness and a great deal of confusion. • Better understand the values and expectations of the corporate culture as well as the behavior of their expat peers and leaders.

• Develop strategies for adapting their behaviors for effective interactions with people from various countries.

• Have an action plan for continued learning and progress.
